    UAE President attends dinner hosted by Russian President in Moscow

    MENA Newswire News Desk: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended a special dinner hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the latter’s official residence during his official visit to the Russian Federation. The meeting, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, underscored the strengthening ties between the two nations. Sheikh Mohamed expressed his appreciation for Putin’s dedication to enhancing UAE-Russian relations, remarking on the mutual benefits that have resulted from this cooperation.

    He wished continued prosperity for Russia and its people, signaling the UAE’s commitment to fostering deeper ties with the country. In response, President Putin commended Sheikh Mohamed’s leadership and the growing strategic partnership between the UAE and Russia, noting that the efforts to advance bilateral relations have yielded tangible results.

    Earlier, upon his arrival at Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport, Sheikh Mohamed was greeted with an official reception that included the national anthems of both the UAE and Russia. A ceremonial guard of honor was assembled to mark the occasion, reflecting the significance of the visit. The UAE delegation accompanying Sheikh Mohamed includes several high-ranking officials, among them H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court; and Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security.

    In addition, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, are part of the delegation. Their presence highlights the UAE’s focus on strengthening trade, advanced technology, and industrial cooperation with Russia.

    The team also includes Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Faisal Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Bannai, Adviser to the UAE President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Mohamed Al Abbar, Chairman of Eagle Hills, and Dr. Mohammed Ahmed bin Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador to the Russian Federation.

    Sheikh Mohamed’s visit aims to further consolidate the UAE-Russian partnership, especially in sectors like advanced technology, industry, and trade, where both nations are exploring new opportunities for collaboration. The discussions are expected to set the stage for future cooperation agreements, reinforcing the strategic significance of this relationship.
